Our Story

Hi, and thanks for visiting our store! My name is Shann Davis, the founder of Forge Mountain Beard Company. I started this company as a side hustle and now it has become a passion. I tried a ton of beard oils and was left disappointed. So, I bought supplies and played around with different scents and blends. This started my journey to create Forge Mountain Beard Company. We sell some of the finest beard care products using top quality ingredients. I love the smell and how my beard feels when I use these. I hope you'll love them as much as I do. 

Now a little about me- I joined the United States Army at the age of 17. After basic training, AIT and jump school I was stationed as a medic in the 82nd Airborne Division. I spent less than three years in HHC 2/325 AIR as a line medic for Bravo company before being medically discharged following a couple of traumatic brain injuries and four compression fractures in my thoracic spine. During my time at Fort Bragg, I was introduced to my soul mate, and seven years later we were married after we both graduated college. We were blessed with two wonderful children and now live in our hometown in western North Carolina.

As I mentioned before, I started Forge Mountain Beard Company as a side hustle. One reason for this is so that we could give back. We have been supporters of Shriner's Hospitals for Children, Veteran's Restoration Quarters, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, India Partners, Compassion International and various local charities. We will continue to donate a portion of our profits to children's charities, veteran's organizations and christian ministries. God has blessed us beyond our comprehension. Without Him we wouldn't be where we are today. Ephesians 2:10 says: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
